First, a transparency is sent to the print shop where it is meticulously cleaned and scanned by the Heilelberg Tango Drum Scanner. The output of this scan is a 100mB, 8bit digital file which produces intense, clean, accurate colors of the original transparency. Also, the Tango's 4.2 DMax ensures superior shadow detail. Basically, you will be able to produce large prints that are color accurate, and detail that is unmatched in the industry. Then the digital file is printed on the Chromira Digital Enlarger on Fuji Crystal Archive paper. This enlarger uses LED's to expose type C photographic paper. No ink is used, which means your prints will last a lifetime without fading.
